Your leadership fuels your fundraising.
Because great leaders = great fundraisers.
And donors invest in people — not just ideas.
So we’ve spotted a pattern.
There are 7 effective leadership styles:
🏋🏽 The Doer
🧐 The Decider
🎬 The Director
💡 The Dreamer
🥁 The Drummer
👩🏻🤝👨🏿 The Delegator
🗣️ The Discusser
Plus one to avoid:
🙅🏾♀️ The Deflector.
Which are you?
Find out in this 2-minute guide.
These styles emerged after working with more than 230 organizations in 50 countries so far. And being a nonprofit CEO myself.

The Daily Bonus
One of a nonprofit leader’s important jobs is deciding on the right external consultants and agencies, from time to time. And in the last couple of weeks, these two great guides popped up in my Feedly morning reading. ⤵

A quick update on my book-writing process.
Today I compiled and communicated with the beta readers list. It now has 272 people in 47 countries who have signed up to read early (rough draft) versions while I get their feedback.
What an honor. And what a global foundation of future ambassadors for this book. Thank you.
I'm currently working hard to finish the first version — the SFD (shitty first draft) as Anne Lamott calls it. It’s been grueling at times. But the v1 manuscript already has 55,000 words, so I'm close.
Stay tuned for more!
Dear Kevin & Team,
